Bali Governor Asks Coordinating Minister AHY For Support On Subway Development
DENPASAR - Acting (Pj) Bali Governor Sang Made Mahendra Jaya asked for the support of the Coordinating Minister for Regional Infrastructure and Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono regarding the construction of a subway.
The Acting Governor of Bali conveyed to the Coordinating Minister for Infra that this subway is an important solution in overcoming congestion problems that have an impact on the tourism sector in Bali.
"The routes that will be built for the subway are heavy traffic routes," said Mahendra Jaya, Tuesday, November 12.
"If this project can be realized to Tanah Lot, it will greatly help maintain the stability of the tourism sector, Bali really needs transportation infrastructure that supports the tourism sector," he continued as quoted by ANTARA.
Discussion of subway transportation infrastructure is a major topic in addition to the development of other infrastructures that require attention and facilitation, plans to accelerate strategic infrastructure development, as well as infrastructure development sourced from the APBN that has been implemented but has not been inaugurated.
For the subway, which began with the construction at the Kuta Parking Central, the Acting Governor, in addition to requiring fiscal support, also explained several obstacles faced.
In the subway development plan in Bali, the obstacles conveyed to the Coordinating Minister for Infra include regulations on the use of basements and technical approval for the trace plan.
