BPBD Reports 360 Families At Pondok Aren Affected By Floods

TANGERANG - The Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of South Tangerang City (Tangsel), Banten, reported that as many as 360 families (KK) in the area were still affected by the flood on Monday.

The flood that submerged hundreds of families occurred in the Taman Mangu Indah Housing area, West Jurangmangu Village, Pondok Aren, South Tangerang City (Tangsel) with water levels reaching 20 to 30 centimeters.

''In this location, there is indeed another broken embankment construction. Almost 360 families of victims were affected," said South Tangerang City BPBD Task Force Commander (Danton) Dian Wiryawan in Tangerang, Antara, Tuesday, November 12.

The impact of this natural disaster has paralyzed the activities of all residents in housing. Some children and the elderly were evacuated to safer places.

"Reslaws have asked project workers to evacuate project materials so that rubber boats can cross," he said.

Until now, the South Tangerang City BPBD Task Force is still trying to evacuate residents who are still at the scene. "The height this morning at WIB ranges from 30 centimeters - 1 meter," he said.

Based on records from the South Tangerang City BPBD on Monday (11/11) at around 20:14 WIB, there were 13 flood points spread across four sub-districts. The water level varies from 30 centimeters to one meter.

Then there was also a fallen tree, namely on Jalan Living World Alam Sutera, North Serpong District. The tree sampled two cars that were parked. Then the tree fell on RT 01/06, Ciputat closed the access road for residents and hoarded internet network cables.
