3 Arrested, One Denies Drug Supply To Liam Payne
JAKARTA - Three people are being questioned for Liam Payne's death after it was said that he fell from the balcony of his hotel room in Argentina on October 16. Now, one of the defendants has opened his voice after being reported to be a drug supplier for the One Direction member.
Liam Payne, who died at the age of 31, was initially reported to have fallen from a three-story balcony of a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The prosecutor stated that the cause of death was internal and external bleeding that could not be saved.
Later, the autopsy resulted in reports that Payne's body contained several narcotics, one of which was a pink cocaine which was a mixture of several types of drugs.
Last week, three people were arrested as defendants for links to Payne's death, although the three were not at the scene.
One of the defendants, Braian Nahuel Paiz, opened his voice to Argentinian TV. He confirmed he had met Liam Payne but he never supplied drugs to Payne.
"I never gave Liam drugs. Liam's first meeting with me at work," Paiz quoted the Mirror as saying.

We exchanged information and met at night. Everything is normal. He came down from the hotel room to meet me because I got lost," he continued.
Paiz continued, Liam Payne had played several musical works to him. Paiz also believes Payne had taken drugs but was not with him.
We went together and he showed some of the music he wanted to release. I heard people say he was using drugs, but the truth is that when he went to the restaurant where I worked, he was already in the effects of drugs and he didn't eat anything, "explained Paiz.
His second meeting, Paiz just confirmed they had consumed marijuana together. However, Paiz insists he never received money from Payne.
"We used drugs together but I never gave drugs to him or received any money," said Paiz.
He also claimed that the police had visited his residence but he had not been asked to testify regarding the death of his friend.
