Concrete Collision On The Cipularang Toll Road, Jasa Marga Diverts The Flow To Overcome Kemaetan

Jasa Marga diverted traffic flow from Bandung to Jakarta exiting through the Cikamuning Toll Gate (GT) at KM 116 following a series of accidents on the Cipularang KM 92 Toll Road.

Agni Mayvinna, Senior Manager of Representative Office 3 Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad Regional Division said the vehicles diverted off the toll road would re-enter through GT Jatiluhur at KM 84.

This was done as an effort to unravel the density due to the occurrence of successive accidents on the Cipularang Toll Road.

An accident involving a cardboard truck on KM 92 of the Cipularang Toll Road towards Jakarta at 15.15 WIB. It is suspected that 10 vehicles were involved in consecutive collisions.

As a result of the incident, traffic on the Cipularang KM 92 Toll Road towards Jakarta was closed, while the opposite lane was opened two lanes to pass.

Currently, the cause of the accident and the victim is still in the process of collecting data with the police.

"Currently, the Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad (JMT) Representative Office 3 Officers through the Jasamarga Tollroad Operator (JMTO) and the police equipped with ambulances, cranes and rescues have been at the scene and make the necessary arrangements," he said.
