Israeli Attacks In Gaza Killed Ministry Of Health Officials, Wives, 3 Children And Three Grandchildren

JAKARTA - As many as 40 Palestinians were killed in an Israeli attack on Gaza when a residential building in the northern city of Jabalia was hit by an Israeli attack.

The Palestinian Human Rights Center (PCHR) in Gaza said 24 people died when an Israeli attack destroyed a three-story building in Jabalia in the morning. Thirty other people living around the house were injured.

Footage circulating on social media showed about a dozen bodies wrapped in blankets and laid outside a hospital near Jabalia. Local media said it was the bodies of people killed in an attack on a residential building, which houses 30 people.

While the Israeli military said they attacked a location in Jabalia where terrorists operate.

Terrorists are a threat to IDF forces (Israeli Defense Forces) operating in the region. Details are being reviewed," the Israeli military said.

In Gaza City, Israeli airstrikes on homes in the Sabra neighborhood on Sunday killed Wael Al-Khour, an official at the welfare ministry, his wife named Khour, one son, two daughters and three grandchildren, medical officers and relatives.

The Israeli military said it was investigating the report.

The Palestinian Red Crescent said its team was working with the International Red Cross Committee, evacuating 20 patients from Al-Awda Hospital in Jabalia on Sunday to another facility in Gaza City.

One of the patients died when an ambulance was held for hours at an Israeli checkpoint separating the northern Gaza region from Gaza City.
