BNPB Prepares Additional Refugee Command Posts For Victims Of The Men's Mount Lewotobi Eruption
NTT - The National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) has prepared additional evacuation posts to evacuate thousands of people affected by the eruption of Mount Lewotobi men.
BNPB Emergency Resources Support Director Agus Riyanto said, based on data on Saturday, November 9, there were 1,049 of the 7 villages that had been displaced due to the eruption of Mount Lewotobi.
"A total of 1,049 people from seven villages have begun to evacuate," Agus said in his statement, Sunday, November 10.
He said, if supporting equipment also began to be prepared, such as mattresses, folding mattresses, blankets, cleaning equipment, cooking utensils, food and beverages, health workers, medicines and other basic needs.
Meanwhile, to fulfill clean water, his party is working on providing water reservoirs.
"Since yesterday, it has started to improve, meaning that each refugee is of course served as much as possible to get what is feasible and run optimally," he said.

On the other hand, the Head of the BNPB Disaster Data, Information and Communication Center, Abdul Muhari, said that volcanic activity experienced a significant increase in Men's Lewotobi Mountain.
So that the Center for Volcanology for Geological Hazard Mitigation (PVMBG) issued a change in the recommended zone which was previously within a 8 kilometer radius for the southwest sector of the sea to 9 kilometers. This has also been in effect since Saturday, November 9.
"This means that the community or visitors are still not allowed to carry out any activities within a radius of 7 kilometers from the peak of the eruption of Mount Lewotobi Lak-Laki and a radius of 9 kilometers for the southwest sector", he said.
