Rain A Day, Bogor City BPBD Reports 19 Disaster Events
BOGOR - The Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Bogor City, West Java, recorded that 19 disasters hit the area on Saturday, November 9 morning until Sunday, November 9 in the morning.
Head of BPBD Bogor City, Hidayatulloh, said that the total disaster on Saturday occurred most during extreme weather in November 2024.
"In total there were 19 incidents with details of nine broken branches or fallen trees, five landslides, four strong winds, and one flood incident," Hidayatulloh said as quoted by ANTARA, Sunday morning.
Hidayatulloh said that 19 incidents were spread across five sub-districts. Among others, in North Bogor District there were four incidents, Tanah Sareal one incident, Central Bogor two incidents, West Bogor five incidents, and South Bogor seven incidents.
"In the incident of a fallen tree in Bondongan Village, South Bogor District, there was one victim of minor injuries. However, it has been handled at Ummi Hospital," he said.
As a result of the 19 disasters, Hidayatulloh said, 61 residents from 17 families (KK) were affected. One of them suffered minor injuries.
In addition, he continued, four cars belonging to residents were also affected by disasters, such as falling trees. Meanwhile, there are eight houses affected by the disaster.
"In detail, six houses were lightly damaged, one unit was moderately damaged, and one unit was heavily damaged," he said.

For this disaster, Hidayatulloh said, the Bogor City BPBD had carried out an appeal to coordination of emergency response together with related parties, and other disaster volunteers.
"To the affected parties, we have carried out emergency handling to the reported location of the incident, as well as providing emergency assistance to the affected parties of the disaster," he explained.
