Ahead Of Heroes' Day, Fairuz A. Rafiq Reminds The Importance Of Remembering Heroes' Services

JAKARTA - Actress Fairuz A. Rafiq conveyed a message to commemorate Heroes' Day which falls every November 10 so that Indonesians always remember Heroes' Day as well as fill it with positive things, both for their respective countries and families.

"The message is that all Indonesians must always remember Heroes' Day," Fairuz said as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, November 9, 2024.

He added, "For me, heroes are not only in times before we became independent, but when we were independent there were also many who had contributed to our country, from athletes and doctors who had been fighting COVID-19 so far and others".

Apart from athletes, doctors, and workers in other fields, Sonny Septian who is the husband of Fairuz also said that heroes are not only those who can make the nation proud. More than that, anyone can become a hero version for their own family, like parents who always prioritize family interests.

"We can also be heroes for our own family," said Sonny.

Fairuz added, "If we are a father and a mother, we can also be heroes, so the meaning of this hero is broad,".

According to Fairuz, the most important thing to do to commemorate Heroes' Day is to appreciate it with positive things.

That way, Heroes' Day will not only be a ceremonial event, but become a meaningful moment that must be remembered by the Indonesian people because thanks to the services of heroes, this homeland can be independent and develop as it is now.

"So, how do we appreciate it (Pahlawan Day) because it means very positive and good," said Fairuz.

"And thank the heroes who have helped our independence," said Sonny ending the conversation.
