Indonesian Citizens In Beijing Welcoming President Prabowo's Arrival

JAKARTA - Indonesian citizens (WNI) who are in Beijing and its surroundings welcome the arrival of President Prabowo Subianto who made his first visit to China after he served as the 8th president of the Republic of Indonesia.

"What did you learn?" Prabowo asked one of the Indonesian citizens who welcomed him in front of the hotel where he was staying during a visit to Beijing on November 8-11, 2024.

"I learned to make violin here," replied Patricia Benita, a student at the Central Conservatory of Music (CCom Center Music Conservation School) Beijing.

"Learn well," continued Prabowo as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, November 8.

In another line, an Indonesian student shouted "Mr. President, photo sir, photo,".

Hearing the screams, Prabowo moved towards the sound and they then took a selfie.

Although Beijing's air temperature reaches 11 degrees, students seem to remain enthusiastic about flying the small red and white flag.

Presiden Prabowo Subianto tiba di Bandara Internasional Capital Beijing, China sekitar pukul 18.25 waktu setempat dengan pesawat ber nomor PK-GRD berjenis Boeing 737-700BBJ bertulang Republik Indonesia dengan penyebaran Burung Garuda dan logo merah putih di bagian buntut pesawat. Pesawat tersebut merupakan pesawat pribadi Prabowo.

On Saturday (9/11), Prabowo is scheduled to hold a meeting with President Xi Jinping which will be held at the Great Hall of the People, Beijing.
