Bobby Nasution Asks The Team To Withdraw The Police Report About His Car Being Thrown After Debate

North Sumatra Governor Candidate number 1 Bobby Nasution asked Bobby-Surya's Legal Team to withdraw the report at the Medan Polrestabes on his car being thrown at after the North Sumatra gubernatorial election debate.

"We agreed with the winning team, I have also asked the winning team for the report to be revoked. We ask that it be revoked today," Bobby said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, November 8.

Because, he said, the selection of candidates for Governor and Deputy Governor of North Sumatra in 2024 must run peacefully, safely and coolly with joy.

The head of the Bobby-Surya Winning Legal Team, Surya Wahyu Danil Dalimunthe, reported Bobby's car throwing after the second public debate to the Medan Police, Thursday (7/11).

The car Bobby and Kahiyang Ayu were traveling in when they left the debate location on Jalan Pengadilan Medan, Wednesday (6/11), was allegedly thrown by a group of people.

"The regional head election (regional head election) aims, we choose leaders in a peaceful way in a cool way," said Bobby.

He also admitted that during the second public debate that took place yesterday, the two supporters of the pair of candidates for Governor and Deputy Governor of North Sumatra heated up a little.

"Yesterday after the debate, maybe there are supporters of us, supporters of Mr. Edy outside the debate location. Surely they had met, maybe a little hot. There was a little friction, after the debate there was still an effect," he said.

Kahiyang Ayu's husband hopes that the 2024 Pilkada contestation will be peaceful, and the incident in yesterday's second public debate was a normal thing and hoped it would not be repeated.

"But in this contest, we want everything to be peaceful well, therefore we consider things like that to be normal but hopefully it doesn't happen again," said Bobby.
