Two Weeks Just Launched, All-New Santa Fe Ordered 700 Units
JAKARTA - The fifth generation of Hyundai Santa Fe was officially launched into the Indonesian market some time ago. This car comes with offering a spacious space combined with radical designs on its exterior.
Not only that, Santa Fe's all-new is also the first hybrid product ever offered by this South Korean automotive manufacturer.
PT Hyundai Motor Indonesia (HMID) Chief Marketing Officer, Budi Nur Mukmin said the SUV was welcomed by Indonesian consumers but he did not want to reveal the exact number of orders.
"Let Fe be a new player in the market and the welcome is very good. I can't confirm the exact figure but the enthusiasm is extraordinary," Budi said in Cikarang, West Java, recently.
However, Budi ensured that the order figure for Santa Fe's all-new reached a three-digit figure in the two-week period after its launch in Indonesia.
"But I make sure the number touches three digits around 500 units while proving that the market needs a refresher," added Budi.
Meanwhile, HMID Chief Operating Officer, Fransiscus Soerjopranoto added that his party had received orders of around 700 units and it was likely that it would increase over time.
"For two weeks, we bagged Santa Fe orders for around 700 units," explained Frans.
HMID provides this medium-dimensional SUV in two variants of powertrain, namely pure gasoline (ICE) and Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) engines.
Speaking of performance, the all-new Santa Fe is offered in the Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) and Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) variants in Indonesia. The hybrid variant has a Smartstream G1.6T-GDI HEV turbo hybrid kitchen which provides a maximum power of 235 ps at 5,600 RPM.
