4x4 Religion Holds Jatiluhur Jungle Rush (JJR) 2024, Pererat Silaturahmi Offroader In Indonesia

JAKARTA - The Alumni Family of Gadjah Mada University (Kagama) 4x4 in collaboration with the Indonesia Offroad Federation (IOF) of the DKI Jakarta Regional Government and also Perum Jasa Tirta II, held the Jatiluhur Jungle Rush (JJR) 2024 starting on November 7-10, 2024.

Located around the Jatiluhur Dam area, Purwakarta, West Java. This inaugural celebration is in the form of off-road adventure competition activities as well as social services.

"This event is not just an off-road competition or improves driving skills, but is also a means of social activities for the surrounding community with social services," said Kagama 4x4 Chair Heri Budiarso in his statement, Friday, November 8.

Heri Budiarso added that this event is also expected to be able to strengthen the friendship of off-roaders in Indonesia to remain friendly, compact and of course provide real benefits for the general public around the location.

"One of them also wants to further introduce tourism potential in Jatiluhur and its surroundings," he continued.

On the same occasion, the President Director of Jasa Tirta II, Iman Santoso, welcomed the 4times4 Kagama and IOF initiatives of the DKI Jakarta Regional Government which appointed Jatiluhur as an adventure and off-road tourist destination.

"We hope to increase public awareness to support the natural tourism potential of Jatiluhur and the local economy, as well as have a positive impact on the surrounding community," said Iman.

The chairman of the IOF of the DKI Jakarta Regional Government, Iwan Sakri, said that the choice of this location was nothing more because of his strategic position both from Jakarta, West Java and Central Java and Yogyakarta.

"Jatiluhur has a strategic location that is easily accessible to participants from various regions from Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, Yogyakarta or East Java," said Iwan.

Heri added that the 4x4 Kagama JJR event is expected to be an annual event, aka routine, and make a positive contribution to the offroad community in Indonesia.

"We hope that in the future, JJR can be held in the same place and can be held regularly. Of course, it can make a positive contribution to the off-road community of Indonesia and also contribute to moving the economy of the local community," concluded Heri Budiarso.
