Film Short And Animated Work Of Students And Students Of Vocational School Budi Luhur Ready To Release Perdana In Cinemas

JAKARTA - The development of digital technology in recent years has indirectly changed people's lifestyle. One of them is in watching movies or videos, people can easily watch movies or videos through digital sites or platforms on their respective devices.

However, this did not dampen the enthusiasm of SMK students Budi Luhur, Tangerang City to be creative and take the initiative to produce short films and animations at the Bluvocation Film Festival (BFF).

BFF is an internal project of entrepreneurship at SMK Budi Luhur, Tangerang City managed by students, starting from film production, to the implementation of film festivals. This film festival invites people from various circles (generalized) and students.

Guru Broadcast TV SMK Budi Luhur, Cika Mutiara Rahmakinanti mengatakan, film-film yang akan tayang di BFF menghadirkan cerita yang tertangkat dengan kehidupan sosial dibalut dengan berbagai genre mulai dari drama, comedy, horor dengan kategori semua usia.

The film genre at the BFF festival includes 4 drama genres produced by Class 11 Broadcast and 5 different genre films such as comedy, drama, slice of life, horror and action produced by Class 10 Animated SMK Budi Luhur.

"All the films that will be shown are 100 percent of the work of students and students of SMK Budi Luhur from Class 10 Animation and Class 11 Broadcast TV produced for 3-4 months starting from August to November 2024," explained Cika, Thursday, November 7.

For the committee, said Cika, it comes from Class 12. It can be said that this activity is a grand collaboration between classes from various majors at SMK Budi Luhur (Broadcast TV / RPL / Animation).

The BFF Festival itself is planned to open in the CGV Transmart Graha Raya Tangerang cinema on December 12, 2024.

"The goal is to invite the public back to watch films in selected cinemas around their area," said Haikal Ardana, film producer and 10th grade student of Broadcast SMK Budi Luhur.

In addition, said Haikal, BFF provides us (students / i-ed) with a lot of knowledge and lessons in producing films. So that in the future we will have skills if we enter the real world of film in the future.

Meanwhile, the Principal of SMK Budi Luhur, Joko Waluyo, added that the school really appreciates the holding of this film festival as the implementation of the Government Assistance Program for the Development of Creative Projects and Entrepreneurship for SMK Phase 2.

"Hopefully it can be a forum for students and students of SMK Budi Luhur in producing the best human resources (HR) for films in Indonesia and abroad," Joko explained again.

In addition, Joko added, one form of scientific application is studied in schools. The creation of this film is also a means of exploring creative ideas related to everyday life so that it provides inspirational value for its audience.

This activity also builds teamwork with various individuals. For external (AUDIENCE) this activity aims as a means of education about the film industry, opportunities and challenges for the younger generation," said Joko.

Joko said, in addition to watching exclusive films by students, this festival film Bluvocation also presents professional speakers from the film industry (Ronny Irawan/film producer). "The presence of these resource persons further enriches the insight of students and also the audience," concluded Joko.
