Dewa 19 Collaboration With Steve Lukather And Dave Koz For New Single

JAKARTA - Ahmad Dhani again announced the collaboration of Dewa 19 with world musicians in their latest work.

Through his Instagram account, the Dewa 19 frontman uploaded a photo of himself with Andra Ramadhan, Steve Lukather, and Dave Koz in the recording studio.

The 52-year-old musician explained that Dewa 19 has a new song in collaboration with the two musicians from the United States.

Meanwhile, Steve Lukather is the guitarist and founder of Toto, a California band with famous songs like 'Rosanna', Pamela, Georgy Porgy, Africa, I'll Be Over You, and much more.

Lukather is also known as a session player for several recordings of Michael Jackson's songs, such as Beat It and Human Nature.

Meanwhile, Dave Koz is known as one of the saxophone players with several well-known instrumental music, such as "Together Again" and You Make Me Smile.

Not only this time, Dewa 19 collaborated with world musicians for new songs.

In the song Love Is Blind which was released in January 2023, Dewa 19 collaborated with Dino Jelusic (vocals), Jeff Scott Soto (vocals), Ron Bumblefoot (guitar), Billy Sheehan (bass), Derek Sherinian (keyboards), and Simon Phillips (drums).

Previously, Ahmad Dhani also announced that Dewa 19 would launch a new release recorded with Gary Cherone (vocals) and Nuno Bettencourt (guitar) from Extreme.
