Lebanese Rocket Reportedly Ascension In Israel's Ben Gurion Airport Area
JAKARTA - Israeli media reported rockets fired from Lebanon over the Ben Gurion Airport area in central Israel.
As reported by ANTARA from Anadolu, Wednesday, November 6, broadcaster Channel 12 Israel said the rocket fire caused a number of flights to experience landing delays or take-off at the airport, but local media later reported that activity had returned to normal.
Footage broadcast by Israeli media showed a rocket hitting a car in a parking lot in the Ra'ana area of Tel Aviv.
No casualties or damage were reported.
The Israeli military said 10 rockets had been fired from Lebanon since Wednesday morning, causing airstrike sirens to sound in several areas in northern and central Israel.
Tensions have risen amid Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon since late September which it claims targeted Hezbollah after an escalation from a year-long cross-border war between Israel and the Lebanese since the onset of Israel's brutal attack on the Gaza Strip.
More than 3,000 people have been killed and more than 13,500 injured in Israeli attacks since October 2023, according to Lebanese health authorities.
Israel expanded its conflict by launching a ground attack on southern Lebanon on October 1.
