Ernando Ari And Malik Risaldi Not Brought By The Indonesian National Team, Persebaya Reports The Latest Condition
JAKARTA - Persebaya Surabaya gave the latest news about the condition of their two injured players, Ernando Ari Sutaryadi and Malik Risaldi.
Both are known to have been forced to not be able to participate in defending the Indonesian national team because of the unfavorable situation.
Initially, Ernando and Malik were summoned to defend the Garuda Squad against Japan in the Group C match for the Third Round of the 2026 World Cup Qualification. Due to injury, the second position was replaced by Muhammad Riyandi, Yance, and Yakob Sayuri.
Ernando and Malik are known to have suffered injuries while both defending Persebaya against PSM Makassar.
Malik Risaldi was replaced by Kasim Botan, while Ernando Ari, who was also injured, was still able to survive until the final minute of the match.

Even so, these two names missed the next match when Persebaya won 1-0 over PSIS Semarang. After one match, Persebaya's official Instagram account again reported the condition of the two Indonesian national team stars.
Ernando seemed to be starting to recover his hand with physiotherapy. Meanwhile, Malik Risaldi, who suffered an injury to his leg, was also specially treated by physiotherapy.
"Ernando Ari and Malik Risaldi continue to undergo a recovery program with the Persebaya physiotherapist team."
"These two Persebaya stars suffered injuries in the match against PSM Makassar," wrote Persebaya's official Instagram account quoted on Wednesday, November 6, 2024.
Both of them were deliberately not brought to Bali against PSIS and had to undergo recovery even though other players received a holiday. This was deliberately done to speed up the process of recovering conditions after injury.
"They were not taken away to Bali to ensure that the recovery runs optimally. Currently, including this morning, when other players get their share of holidays after the match against PSIS, Nando and Malik continue to undergo the recovery program," the club said in a statement.
