Inspired Children To Dare To Achieve Dreams Through The Singer's Pina Book
JAKARTA - Each child certainly has a dream. Behind their laughter and small steps, there are various ideals to be achieved, ranging from being a doctor, musician, artist, to scientist.
But unfortunately, not all children dare to dream big and even try to achieve their dreams. In this case, the environment, limited access, and various traditional views on "safe" jobs often make them hesitate to express or pursue these dreams.
This is where our important role as adults as parents, educators, or communities becomes a source of inspiration and motivation for them by inspiring children to dare to dream is the first step in building a generation that is confident and optimistic.
One of the effective ways is through a good story from a book, as did Puyo's culinary brand who collaborated with writer Reda Gaudimao to publish the book Pina Sang Singer.
This book tells the story of a child with a melodious voice but doubts about appearing. Not only presenting stories, but also showing children that dreams are worth fighting for.
"Through Pina's character, children can see their talents and interests whatever their form is something valuable," said Eugenie Patricia, Co-Founder of Puyo Desserts at its launch in Jakarta, recently.
Eugenie said this book raises the theme of a child's dream of becoming a professional singer who is considered unusual or promising at home.
The story centers on a child named Pina who has a melodious voice but feels hesitant to appear on stage, even though singing is one of the hobbies he likes, in addition to writing and drawing.
"We hope this book can inspire children to be more daring to express themselves and show their talents," said Eugenie.

This book was released specifically in Puyo Peduli, which aims to help build schools in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). As part of this program, every purchase of Silky Kids Bundle, which contains 4 Puyo desserts and the book Pina Sang Singer by Reda Gaudimao, will contribute IDR 20,000 to the construction of the Abdi Kasih Bangsa School.
Interestingly, Pina's character was created with characteristics that resemble children in NTT, ranging from hair color, skin, to eyes. This is intended so that they can feel closer and connected to the character in the book.
I believe that every child, wherever they are, has the right to proper education. Education is not just gaining knowledge, but also opening the door to opportunities for a better future," he concluded.
