Menkomdigi: We Open The Door Widely For Online Gambling Investigation
JAKARTA - Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs, Meutya Hafid, emphasized that the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs (Komdigi) opened the door as wide as possible for law enforcement officers in investigating Komdigi employees suspected of being involved in online gambling syndicates.
Earlier on Friday, November 1, the Polda Metro Jaya conducted a search of the Ministry of Communication and Digi's office, which also presented four suspects.
"This is a bitter pill. However, our commitment that we have conveyed together is with one tone even though it is separate from the National Police Chief, that Komdigi will be open and open to all investigation development efforts," said Meutya at the Menkomdigi Working Meeting (Raker) with Commission I of the Indonesian House of Representatives on Tuesday, November 5.
Meutya also said that the Ministry of Komdigi would receive any time the police came to his office for investigation and an investigation into the connection between his employees and online gambling.
