Note! Verrell Promises To Be Ready To Deposit His Salary To Make Bekasi Children Free Breakfast

Verrell Bramasta Fadilla will not break his promise to distribute his salary as a member of the DPR for a full year to the public. He revealed that his salary will be used to empower food for breakfast for people who are sustainable with a free nutritious food program (MBG) which is the flagship of President Prabowo Subianto's government.

"Anyway, I will not break my promise and will still protect the hearts of the electoral district friends who have given me their mandate," Verrell said, Tuesday, November 5.

Verrell's salary distribution will indeed be especially for the people in his constituency, namely the West Java VII electoral district which covers the districts of Bekasi, Karawang, and Purwakarta. Verrell's promise about not taking a year's salary was said during the 2024 Pilleg campaign before being declared to have passed the Senayan seat.

According to Verrell, the use of his salary for the people is in line with the Free Nutrition Food program where the initial focus is for school children and other vulnerable groups.

If the Government program is for lunch, Verrell will distribute his salary for breakfast programs for the community, especially school children.

"We will immediately realize it. We have good intentions, we will allocate salary empowerment for free breakfast for students in electoral districts," said one member of the millennial DPR.

"This will also line up with the government's priority program, namely a nutritious lunch. I will also coordinate with commission partners regarding this matter," Verrell continued.

Verrell himself served in Commission X of the DPR in charge of education and youth affairs. One of the partners of Commission X of the DPR is the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen).

As a member of the DPR who is entrusted with the voice of the people, Verrell is ready to fully devote himself to the benefit of the community.

"I belong entirely to the community and work for the benefit of the community, especially the electoral district community," said the member of the Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Agency (BKSAP).

Verrell also ensured that the one-year salary management distributed to the public would be carried out transparently and openly. That way, people in their electoral district can also supervise.

"The execution will also be carried out in a transparent and open manner, so that the wider community can jointly supervise my performance and promises," said Verrell.

To note, Verrell qualified for Senayan with 94,810 votes from the people of the West Java VII electoral district. Paying for DPR members is regulated in Law Number 12 of 1980 concerning Financial/Administrative Rights of Leaders and Members of the Highest/Highest State Institutions and Former Members of State High Institutions.
