Proven Guilty, Yudha Arfandi Sentenced To 20 Years In Prison For Dante's Death Case
The defendant Yudha Arfandi was finally sentenced to 20 years in prison by the panel of judges at the East Jakarta District Court for the alleged murder of Tamara Tyasmara's late son, Raden Andante Khalif Pramudityo.
"The trial, declared the defendant Yudha Arfandi legally and convincingly guilty of committing the crime of premeditated murder as in the first indictment of the public prosecutor," said the judge when reading the verdict at the East Jakarta District Court, Monday, November 4.
"The defendant Yudha Arfandi was sentenced to 20 years in prison and ordered the defendant to remain in detention," he continued.
The judge also explained about the aggravating factors and lightened the sentence of Yudha Arfandi.
The thing that is considered burdensome is to make noise during the trial process so that it disturbs the public.
"The defendant had the heart to commit acts against the victim's child Raden Andante Khalif Pramudityo, a child he should have protected and loved, given his close relationship with witness Tamara Tyasmara, the mother of the victim's child Raden Andante," said Hakim.
"The situation that relieves the defendant has never been convicted, the defendant is still young, the defendant is polite during the examination at trial," he concluded.
