Launched for the first time globally since 2016, Nissan Kicks has succeeded in attracting positive responses in several Southeast Asian markets, including Indonesia. This car is practical, modern-style, and efficient in fuel use thanks to e-POWER hybrid technology.
The model has a compact but practical size, with a length of 4,305 mm, a width of 1,760 mm, a height of 1,615 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,620 mm.
In terms of performance, Nissan Kicks e-POWER is equipped with a 1.2 liter 3-cylinder engine capable of producing up to 129 ps of power and 260 Nm of torque. This car is equipped with an e-transmission driving front wheel and a hybrid system with a battery with a capacity of 2.13 kWh, which increases fuel efficiency.
Thus, this Japanese manufacturer claims Kicks e-Power can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/hour in 9.5 seconds.
The work system of e-Power is quite unique where the engine only serves as an energy producer for batteries, which can provide high thermal efficiency to increase fuel savings (BBM) while reducing emissions. According to Nissan's claim, the model has a fuel consumption of 21.7 km/l.
