Apple Launches Back Camera Repair Program For Some IPhone 14 Plus Models

JAKARTA - Apple has just launched a special repair program for a small number of iPhone 14 Plus units that have problems with rear cameras.

Based on information from Apple, the "very small percentage" of the iPhone 14 Plus model produced between 10 and 28 April last year experienced a disruption that prevented the image preview from taking.

The company provides a dedicated website for this problem, where users can check their iPhone 14 Plus series numbers to ensure repair feasibility. If the device is identified as part of the affected unit, Apple will fix the problem for free, regardless of device guarantee status.

For repairs, users can bring the iPhone 14 Plus to Apple Official Service Providers or the nearest Apple retail store. For users who do not have access to the nearest repair location, they can contact Apple Support to submit a postal delivery option.

This program includes an affected iPhone 14 Plus fix of up to three years from the start of the purchase date. Given that the iPhone 14 Plus was launched in September 2022, Apple will provide free repair services until September 2025 for eligible units.

Apple is also offering repair fee returns for users who have paid to fix this problem before the program is announced.
