Bawaslu Find Thousands Of APKs Violating, Recommendations To KPU For Action
"A total of 1,382 campaign props (APK) in 20 sub-districts in Temanggung Regency violated and did not comply with the provisions of the General Election Commission (KPU) zoning," said Temanggung Regency Bawaslu Chairman Roni Nefriadi.
"We have conveyed it to the KPU and yesterday we asked the follow-up, then the KPU has written to the candidate pair. Information from the KPU will have a coordination meeting related to the APK which violates these provisions," said Roni Nefriadi, ANTARA, Sunday, November 3.
Roni said that his party had made an inventory of his relationship with the APK in the form of billboards and banners that violated, such as installing on power poles, then also in prohibited places, for example in places of worship.
"We have also inventoried props facilitated by the KPU, both provincial KPU and district KPU, we see that there are still many installed in village offices as well as in trees," he said.
He said that his party had recommended to the KPU to immediately move the APK because it was not in accordance with the regulations and conditions that had been agreed by the KPU.

"There is an APK that blocks the view of motorists, this endangers the safety of the community, so we hope that the candidate pair itself will be wiser in placing the APK," he said.
In accordance with PKPU 13 related to this campaign, he said, the nomenclature is that later the local Bawaslu will coordinate with the KPU, then the KPU will coordinate with stakeholders (dishub and Satpol pp) to agree with what kind of control.
