Dpr Proposes Inventory Of State Assets Does Not Stop At TMII
JAKARTA - Vice Chairman of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia Azis Syamsuddin supports the policy of the Ministry of State Secretariat (Kemensetneg) to take over the management of Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) from Harapan Kita Foundation. He hopes this strategic step has a positive impact in the management of state assets.
"This takeover is due to a recommendation from the CPC. This means that there are already records and instructions for asset optimization. This is also in the interests of the greater, especially in terms of managing state assets," Azis said on Thursday, April 8.
Golkar politician revealed that the basis of tmii management has been based on Presidential Decree (Presidential Decree) number 51 of 1977 that provides TMI management to Harapan Kita Foundation.
Dpr, he said, also does not know how much exactly the results obtained from the management of TMII.
"Even if it is biased, and potentially cause state losses, yes it is natural if the Government takes it over. Moreover, it is a state asset," Azis said.
The Deputy Chairman of Golkar Party also asked the government not to stop in evaluating other assets that are not optimal.
"Yes inventory only. One by one. Look carefully, which is wasteful, which is not optimal to take over. While this has a positive impact on the country and the welfare of the people, the Dpr will fully support," said Azis.
According to Azis, some assets that must be observed are the management of kemayoran complex and Gelora Bung Karno.
"The Minister of Finance has reviewed this for some time. There are some constraints regarding its status and the complexity of the problem. We hope this can be parsed. So there is a greater benefit if this is withdrawn and managed by the state," said Azis.
