On the same day, Mitsubishi Electric together with ASEAN Mitsubishi Electric CupTM 2024 Trophy Tour proudly announced the presence of legendary Takeshi Okada coach, who led Japan in the 1998 and 2010 FIFA World Cups, at football clinics for young players who aspired to high.
The Clinical Coaching was held at Gelora Bung Karno Football Field, Field C, from 10.00 to 12.30 (local time), and presented training and mini games using the "Okada" method designed by this famous coach.
Takeshi Okada also won the title J.League with Yokohama F Marinos in 2003 and 2004.
ASEAN Mitsubishi Electric CupTM 2024 Trophy Tour has previously stopped in Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, and Hanoi, and will reach its final stop in Manila on November 9.
ASEAN Mitsubishi Electric CupTM is a leading football event in the region, and this competition is back for its 15th edition in December, with Indonesia's ambition to win its first title after six runners-up.

In the 28 years since its formation, the event has grown from a centralized tournament for two weeks to a competition currently being played in various countries in the region over a six-week period, in front of a stadium that is always full in Hanoi, Bangkok, Manila, Jakarta, and others.
The group stage of the ASEAN Mitsubishi Electric CupTM 2024 will start on December 8 with Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Cambodia, and the winners of the Timor Leste playoffs competing in Group A. Meanwhile, Group B will be filled by Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, Myanmar and Laos, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the next round.
The semifinals will be played in a home-tone format on 26-27 December and 29-30 December 2024, while the finals will be held on January 2 and 5.
