This Is The Impression Of Badminton World Stars Playing Format 3v3

JAKARTA - With the introduction of the 3v3 format at the BDMNTN-XL tournament at Istora Senayan Jakarta, it attracted the attention of a number of badminton players in the world.

For Indonesian men's doubles player Hendra Setiawan, this 3 against 3 format makes badminton a more entertaining and fresh sport for fans and spectators.

"The 3v3 tournament is interesting to watch, especially, the pace is faster than (playing in the men's doubles sector)," said Hendra, during a press conference at Istora Senayan Jakarta, quoted from ANTARA, Saturday, November 2.

"I also agree that this format is good for badminton going forward, the more people watch, the better," he added.

Agreeing, for Malaysian badminton player Chen Tang Jie, the new game format can also be a badminton promotion event to be more popular and in demand by the wider audience.

Being able to play with the great players here will be an experience I remember all my life. Moreover, I really enjoyed a tournament like this and I hope to be able to promote badminton even more broadly," Chen said.

Hong Kong mixed doubles player Tse Ying Suet said the 3v3 format with players from different countries also gave its own impression.

"I feel lucky to be able to play with great players, some are even retired and want to retire, maybe there will be no more opportunities like this," said Tse.

I can learn with my idol (Hendra Setiawan). I can learn a lot and I am happy to be friends with players from other countries," he added.

Another Hong Kong player, Tang Chun Man, and Japanese badminton player Yuta Watanabe also felt happy with the opportunity to try out the 3v3 format together, especially since they have often met but on different sides of the field.

"I enjoyed being in this team," said Watanabe.

I also enjoyed such a fun match in this format. In addition, we can also show good teamwork," Tang added.
