Grand Final Podcast Hunt 2024 Leaves 5 Podcast Groups From 392 Participants

JAKARTA - A new podcast search competition, the 2024 Podcast Hunt will be closed with the Grand Final event being held today, Friday, November 1. The Ancur hydrocast consisting of Randhika Jamil, Patra Gumala, and Diaz Danar said they were grateful to be able to get to this point.

"We are very happy to finally be at this point. From the start we met with media friends during presscon and finally in this final the process was long, the election was difficult from the top 50, the top 20, to the top 5, so it was really excited because it turned out that the podcast industry was still so exciting and very interesting," said Diaz Danar in Gambir area, Central Jakarta, Friday, November 1.

Now on the night of the Grand Final, there are 5 podcast groups that have successfully advanced and defeated 392 other participants.

"From hundreds instead. Of all those who submit 392, then to 50, to 20, until finally to 5. Yes, it turns out that there are still a lot of variations in content in the podcast pool, especially in Indonesia. That's just what we found out. Maybe there are more off the radar. I think it will have to be more big next year, the scale is even more," added Patra Gumala.

"There are 5 participants and interestingly, these 5 participants have quite different genres. Some are comedy, monologous education, financial education, educational conspiracy theories," continued Diaz Danar.

Diaz explained that Podcast Ancur itself will fulfill their promise to invite the winners of this competition to join their management.

"So as we said on the podcast, in the first press conference at that time. So these are the big 5, if they want, we propose to them to work together under the auspices of the management of the Ancur Podcast," explained Diaz Danar.

"We will together have a group to run programs whose purpose is to grow the ecosystem. So it's like we make one management, if it's like artist management, there's a singer management, so we manage podcasts starting from the top 5," he said.
