Regarding Ceasefire, Hamas: Nothing Serious From The Israeli Mouth
JAKARTA - The Palestinian resistance group, Hamas, stated that Israel was not serious about ceasefire negotiations in Gaza.
Speaking to Hamas-run Al-Aqsa television channel, senior Hamas official Osama Hamdan said Israel did not offer a sincere and "not at all serious proposals in negotiations".
"Any proposal submitted to us (Hamas) and fulfills the demands of our people, ends their suffering, and completely stops Israeli aggression, not only temporary, we will continue without hesitation," Hamdan said, quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, November 2.
He added that Israel was unable to crush Palestinian resistance despite one year of war in the region. Israel has killed more than 43,000 people in Gaza and left the region uninhabitable since the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023.
