AFPI Collaborates With Global Fintech Association
JAKARTA - The Indonesian Joint Funding Fintech Association (AFPI) is expanding global cooperation with the Hong Kong Fintech Association, Beijing Fintech Institute, and the Zhongguancun Fintech Industry Development Alliance.
The bilateral cooperation was carried out during Hong Kong Fintech Week where the bilateral meetings resulted in an agreement to strengthen collaboration in various fields, such as knowledge exchange, joint research, and the development of an inclusive fintech ecosystem.
AFPI General Chairperson Entjik S Djafar said that AFPI's participation in Hong Kong Fintech Week is a strategic step to strengthen Indonesia's position as one of the centers of fintech innovation in the world.
"Cooperation with fintech associations in Hong Kong will open up opportunities for the Indonesian fintech industry to learn from global best practices and expand business networks," he said in his statement, Friday, November 1.
Entjik said that this collaboration will focus on joint research and knowledge exchange between the two largest fintech lending markets in the world, namely Indonesia and China.
"We are very enthusiastic about this collaboration. By combining the power of research and innovation from both countries, we are confident that we can develop more innovative fintech solutions and have a positive impact on society," said Entjik.
The participation of AFPI in Hong Kong Fintech Week has shown that Indonesia's fintech industry has made significant progress.
