Pramono Will Reopen The Closed Jak Lingko Track

JAKARTA - Candidate for Governor of DKI Jakarta number 3 Pramono Anung will revive a number of Jak Lingko routes that will be closed if he wins in the 2024 Jakarta Regional Head Election (Pilkada) contestation.

"If I (so governor) we will reopen the closed Jak Lingko route," Pramono said in Jakarta, as reported by Antara, Friday, November 1.

Pramono explained that Jak Lingko's idea, which was initiated by former DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan, was quite good because it could reduce congestion. Pramono regretted that several routes or corridors of Jak Lingko were closed when Anies was no longer governor.

According to Pramono, the problem of congestion in Jakarta was caused by workers from around Jakarta such as Bekasi, Bogor, Tangerang, South Tangerang, Depok and as Cianjur.

Then, the number of residents around Jakarta increased by about four million in the morning and decreased by four million in the afternoon.

Meanwhile, congestion in Jakarta causes losses of more than IDR 71 trillion every year. In fact, from the survey results, it reached around IDR 100 trillion.

Therefore, Pramono will create Transjabodetabek which will force people to rise to public transportation and not use private vehicles to overcome congestion problems in Jakarta.

"How is the arrangement? Will be released (freely) 15 groups. Not only by busway but also by MRT, LRT and also JakLingko. Therefore, we will subsidize it to be like that, the cost is much cheaper," he said.

The DKI Jakarta KPU has determined three pairs of candidates (paslon) for the governor and deputy governor of DKI Jakarta to run in the DKI Jakarta Pilkada on Sunday (22/9).

The three candidate pairs are Ridwan Kamil-Suswono (RIDO) number 1, Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana (Dharma-Kun) from independent serial numbers 2 and Pramono Anung-Rano Karno (Pram-Doel) serial number 3.
