Achieve Standing Ovation To Watch By Cesc Fabregas, JCO Bersinar In Vienna And Roma
JAKARTA - Jakarta Concert Orchestra (JCO) together with Batavia Madrigal Singers (BMS) - winner of the European Grand Prix for Choral Singing 2022, under the direction of Maestro Avip Priatna conductor, Mag.Art., recorded history thanks to the appreciation in the form of standing ovation in every city in a series of European friendly concert tours entitled "Symphonie der Freundschaft". The show was held in Vienna and Salzburg on October 22 and 23, as well as "Armony Indonesiane" in Como and Rome on October 26 and 28.
Bringing a classic arrangement of Indonesian songs, this concert amazed the audience on the prestigious stages of the two countries, featuring a rich and authentic interpretation in the classic music language that was familiar to them but colored by a touch of Indonesian culture.
The concert tour of this friendship began on October 22 at Gro airing Saal Musikverein, Vienna, one of the most prestigious and best acoustic classical concert buildings in the world, and continued to Stiftungxieum in Salzburg on October 23.
Accompanied by 49 JCO musicians including soloist Giovani Biga (biola), Nino Ario Wijaya (klarinet), Metta F. Ariono, Marini Widyastari (flute), and Jonathan Kuo (piano), this concert also features 45 BMS singers including Farman Purnama (tensor) and total Luisa (sopran). In Italy, the tour of his friendly concert continued with the first appearance at Teatro Sociale, Como, on October 26, 2024, and the Auditorium Conciliazione, Rome, on October 28, 2024. Just like in Austria, this concert features classic arrangements for Indonesian songs, such as Overture Fatahillah and Indonesia Badminton.
