MMKSI Talks About The Possibility Of Bringing DST Concept Production Version To Indonesia
JAKARTA - Mitsubishi made a surprise at the Philippines International Motor Show (PIMS) 2024 by introducing the DST Concept, which at first glance is similar to the Mitsubishi XForce but has a larger dimension.
The presence of the DST Concept is certainly a concern for many people, and it is a puzzle whether the model will also be present in Indonesia.
Responding to this, PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI) has not been able to talk much about its presence in the production version in Indonesia.
"So it is in the Philippines in the form of a concept, we'll just have to wait for how in the future, whether Indonesia will become a market to bring in this product or not, because next year it will be a short time," said General Manager of Marketing Communication & PR Division, Intan Vidiasari, when met in Bekasi area, West Java, Wednesday, October 31.
On the same occasion, the Director of Sales & Marketing Division of PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI) Irwan Kuncoro, also did not say much when asked about the presence of the model production version mentioned above.
"We'll wait, we'll wait because there is no information for now in Indonesia," said Iwan.

As previously reported by VOI, Mitsubishi Motors President and Chief Executive Officer Takao Kato revealed that the concept model will be a manifestation of the new three-line SUV which will be launched in several markets, especially Southeast Asia starting in 2025.
"Mitsubishi DST Concept is the embodiment of a new three-line SUV that will be launched during our current medium-term business plan, Challenge 2025, and its production vehicles will be launched mainly in the ASEAN region including the Philippines starting in the 2025 fiscal year," he said, quoted from his official website some time ago.
The concept model carries the design language Gravitas & Dynamism, this presents a remarkable level of solidity with sophisticated form and offers a wide space for third row seats.
The flexibility in the cabin space is emphasized by blackening the entire pillar and enveloping the cabin with a smooth circular window, while the rich back surface further reinforces its tough presence. The DST Concept also offers five driving modes that can be chosen according to its condition, consisting of Wet, Tarmac, Normal, Gravel, and Mud.
