The Pretext Of Hamas Gathering Is The Reason For Israel To Attack Beit Lahiya Gaza To Death 93 People

JAKARTA - The building in the city of Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza that collapsed after the Israeli military offensive on Tuesday is said to be a possible gathering point for Hamas.

The attack on the building killed 93 people, including 25 children, Palestinian health officials said.

The source said the attack came after Israeli forces opened fire on Hamas surveillance seen on the roof of the building, but the military had no intention of tearing down the building.

"Our investigation is ongoing, but we managed to find surveillance in active war zones, and many of the names of the dead were members of Hamas and jihad terrorists," the source said.

The US called the attack "terrible". The United Nations said it was one of Israel's deadliest attacks on Gaza in nearly three months.

Israeli sources said the military was investigating why so many people were inside the unknown building occupied, in areas that should have been evacuated.
