Government Plans To Blend 6 Million MSME Actors, Coordinating Minister Maman Reveals Still In The Legal Synchronization Process
JAKARTA - Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Maman Abdurrahman said that the policies planned by President Prabowo Subianto related to bleaching or deleting credit books for 6 million MSME actors, including farmers and fishermen, are still in the process of studying and synchronizing the law.
"The spirit and spirit as well as the intention of eliminating debt receivables for MSME farmers and several groups that are considered quite burdensome are currently in the process of deeper study and synchronization related to spaces or legal grounds," he said after the opening of the 2024 ISEF, at the JCC, Wednesday, October 30.
According to Maman, the purpose of this policy is to ease the burden on MSME players and farmers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
"In principle, the intention is to ease the burden on MSME actors, farmers who were once affected by COVID-19 and so on," he explained.
In addition, Maman conveyed that the policy was a directive from President Prabowo Subianto and was being prepared by the rules through the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Menkumham) and the relevant Ministry for synchronization and preparation of legal regulations.
"So the basic principle was that. So it means that there is a direction from the President to try to ease the burden on our friends and relatives who are indeed burdened with these debts," he said.
"The direction of the President as soon as possible, of course, the Minister of Law and Human Rights will also prepare it first, by several ministries to synchronize and prepare legal regulations," he added.
However, Maman explained that there will be several special criteria that the government will apply to determine who is entitled to receive the policy so that this credit deletion does not apply to all MSME actors.

I have to straighten it out first, not in its entirety, but for those who are indeed considered by the government, the parties who are really detrimental or are really unable to because of some of yesterday's critical situations," he said.
According to Maman, he has not been able to provide more details regarding the amount or amount of debt that will be deleted because it is still under study.
"In detail, I don't understand, Ms., yes, because of course it will go up and down depending on the amount," he said.
