This Week The Mataram Police Are Scheduled To Examination Of Marathon 6 Witnesses In The Corruption Case Of Heavy Equipment Rental Of PUPR

Mataram Police Investigators, West Nusa Tenggara, have scheduled a marathon examination of witnesses in cases of alleged corruption in heavy equipment rental activities belonging to the Lombok Regional Provincial Road Maintenance Center at the NTB Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Office.

Head of the Mataram Police Satreskrim Kompol I Made Yogi Purusa Utama said his party had followed up on the agenda by sending summons to witnesses.

"We will start the marathon examination agenda this week," said Yogi in Mataram, Antara, Wednesday, October 30.

He explained that the names of witnesses who entered the initial agenda this week came from the Lombok Regional Provincial Road Maintenance Center at the NTB PUPR Service.

"A total of six witnesses from the hall, including the former Head of the NTB PUPR Office, were used for this week," he said.

Apart from the hall, the parties included in the marathon examination agenda came from the NTB Regional Revenue Management Agency (Bappenda), the NTB Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD), including a tenant named Fendy from Kediri, West Lombok Regency, who lives in East Lombok Regency.

Dalam tahap penyidikan ini, Polresta Mataram belum mengungkapkan peran tersangka. Yogi memastikan agenda pemeriksaan ini bagian dari upaya mengungkap hal tersebut.

"For the audit of losses, we will ask for support from the inspectorate, but that will be after the witnesses are finished," he said.

Regarding the heavy equipment included in the rental object, it is confirmed that Yogi is still being searched for by investigators in the field. He believes that the existence of the lever truck and the cement complainant machine that has not been confiscated is known to Fendy.

"So, the point is that there is Fendy the tenant, if he has met, we will definitely get the rest of the evidence," he said.

For excavators, Yogi ensured that the follow-up to the confiscation on Monday (21/10), in Pengadangan Village, Pringgasela District, East Lombok Regency, is now at the Lombok Regional Provincial Road Maintenance Office at the NTB PUPR Service.

"Following up on the confiscation last week, we have entrusted the position of the excavator to the office in Ampenan, Mataram City, his status is still evidence of the case," said Yogi.

In handling this case, investigators have pocketed potential state financial losses with a value of at least Rp. 3 billion. The value of the loss arises from the rental calculation which starts from 2021 to July 2024.

Yogi also ensured that his party would increase the status of handling to the investigation stage after finding indications of unlawful acts from the process of clarifying data and information from related parties.
