Afgan Reveals Special Riders Aimed For Teams And Crews Behind Stages
JAKARTA - Like many other musicians or singers in the music industry, Afgansyah Reza, who is known as the mononimous Afgan, does not deny that he has his own riders.
Meanwhile, riders are a special request from talents or artists that must be met by the event organizers. Riders are usually submitted by musicians to the organizers when appearing in music concerts.
Afgan himself claimed to have riders in the form of food. He felt the request was quite reasonable and did not bother the organizers too much.
"There must be riders, it's just that my riders are not complicated, at least just snacks, then there is pizza, there are cup noodles," Afgan told the media crew in Senayan, Central Jakarta recently.
The 35-year-old singer called the riders asked not only for herself. He asked for enough food for the accompanying music team and the crew he worked for.
"Because the riders are not for me, but for the team. There is a team of musicians waiting for the backstage, there is also a crew," said Afgan.

"It's like everyone needs a snack, right, so everything is in a good mood," he added.
Afgan said the foods requested by the organizers proved effective in keeping the backstage atmosphere with the team motivated to appear on stage.
For Afgan himself, talking to the team backstage is a way to keep his mood up to the maximum when performing.
"If it makes me keep his mood more talking to the team. Because my team has been all around for a long time, a dozen years, so it's like family," he said.
"So spending time with them on the backstage is quite a mood booster," he said.
