Lucas Bravo Starts Tired Of Playing Emily In Paris, Why?

JAKARTA - Lucas Bravo is starting to consider wanting to return to the Emily in Paris series. Playing Gabriel for four years, he has found it unpleasant to play the character.

The 'play' of the sexy chef was huge for me in the first season and we separated the next season because of the choices he made and because of the direction of the role he took. I've never felt far from his character," Lucas Bravo told Indie Wire.

Furthermore, Bravo reflects that there are many stories about Gabriel in the series but since then he has felt that his character has been manipulated by many people.

"It felt like it was not fun for me to shoot or see my beloved character turn into a spicy sauce. I feel far from the character," said Bravo.

Bravo tried to voice his concerns about the character but he felt there were limitations in exploring Gabriel for the next season.

I tried to present certain nuances, but we didn't have much freedom on set. We couldn't change a word or emotion. They know what they want and we just have to obey it," Lucas Bravo said.

This makes me wonder if I want to be part of season five because my contract expires in season four. I want to see if Gabriel is back to being fun, fun. Because for three seasons I've been a character who plays, depressed, sad, lost and it's not fun. It's a comedy, everyone has fun around me, everyone has fun and I just drowned into something that I don't know what it is, "he said.

Not only that, Bravo also feels that the storyline does not want to be changed because of the success of the series. Even so, Lucas Bravo feels that this series has the best place.

I love the series. It started everything for me. I love the series and the people in it. When I talked earlier, I wasn't not grateful but when you guys loved something, you wanted the best version in it. I won't lie, I feel frustrated with the direction of the character, but we'll see in the future. The series isn't over yet," said Bravo.
