Dbatlayar Story: From Content Can Be Invited By HIVI! Enter Management

JAKARTA - The duo group from Jakarta, dbatlayar is a music group under the auspices of KEINA Creative, a talent management founded by HIVI!.

the dbatlayar consisting of Dave and Joy's brothers started their musical journey in 2020 from home. They wrote their own songs, recorded with the help of friends, and released and promoted them independently.

In 2022, the club was contacted by HIVI guitarist!, Febrian Nindyo, after one of their song cover content received a good response.

"We will enter in 2022. This will be our first management and we are also the first talent in the management," said Joy when visiting the VOI office in Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta some time ago.

"Initially, we used to make content (covering songs) with papa. From there we followed with Kak Febri. Long story short, we were invited to the office to chat. And in the third meeting, we were invited to enter the management of the talent, "said Dave.

Joining talent management provides a separate experience for dbatlayar in music. They feel more understanding of how musicians process in producing musical works.

"Finally there we were guided as musicians. At first we only knew to make music, but it turned out that there were many new insights that we got and could shape us so that we would develop even more," said Joy.

The last single DUtlayar, which had gone viral on social media, Badut Baru, is one example of the results obtained thanks to their work with the team at KEINA Creative.

"Since entering management, we have felt the recording in the studio for the first time. We are also recording directed by the vocal director," said Joy.

"Conceptually, we can also instill more in us, now we are duo. Not only playing music, but there are values that we must be able to share with our friends," concluded Dave.
