Reza Rahadian Announces The First Production And Film House, Pangku

JAKARTA - Acting for almost 20 years, Reza Rahadian marked a new level in his career through the first feature film, Pangku. This film will be produced through the production house Image Movement which he founded with Arya Ibrahim.

The film Pangku takes a little practice of lapang coffee which is known in the Pantura area and its surroundings. Pangku coffee is a tradition of someone ordering coffee and on the lap of a woman for chatting. On the other hand, this film will capture the struggle of a mother who is a offering to her mother.

"Sebuah kehidupan yang pernah datang ke sana untuk syuting film lain, terbesit kalau satu hari membuat film ini tidak jauh dari sana dan baru berpikir tahun ini," kata Reza Rahadian dalam konferensi pers pada Selasa, 29 Oktober.

This film is a love letter to my mother. She has done a lot. The first film has at least had inner attachment so I dedicate this film to my mother who is a strong and strong woman. I always see women as strong and represented figures. This story is not about my mother but seeing the female character herself, "he said again.

This film was produced by Arya Ibrahim with Happy Salma and Gita Fara. Pangku will be played by Claresta Taufan, Fedi Nuril, Shakeel Aisy, Devano Danendra, and Christine Hakim.

Pangku tells the story of a woman who struggles to live life in the midst of a crush on social and social life.

"I cast 2 times with Mas Kelvin the second time I was with Reza, but when I first read the synopsis and character, I felt the struggle of a mother and a woman in Indonesia who fought for herself and her family," said Claresta Taufan.

The film Pangku from Reza Rahadian is planned to hit theaters in 2025.
