Arne Slot Praises Liverpool's Fighting Power
JAKARTA - Liverpool secured one point when they visited Arsenal headquarters, Emirates Stadium on Sunday, October 27, 2024.
The Reds managed to equalize twice to force the game to end 2-2.
Liverpool manager, Arne Slot, paid tribute to his players for proving energy and fighting power after claiming a point.
It is also inseparable from the condition of the Reds who have less one day of rest than Arsenal after playing in the Champions League in the middle of the week.
"Being left behind twice against Arsenal's very strong team and getting one point is a fun thing to see."
"A trip in Europe, one day less for preparation and two times left behind with so noisy fans."

"We rose so strong. It was great to have energy in the second half. We looked so strong."
"You ask yourself, can you get a result in a tough away game like this?"
"Seeing we can compete with Arsenal who are so strong at home is a very good thing."
"However, where it will take us at the end of the season, I can't tell you," Slot said as reported by ESPN.
Apart from that, Mohamed Salah was also one of the players who deserved praise.
Salah's late goal equalizing 2-2 was his eighth goal in the league so far this season.
The record led him to the Liverpool legend, Robbie Fowler, with 163 Premier League goals to occupy eighth place on the league's all-time goalscoring list.
Former Arsenal striker Thierry Henry is in seventh place with 175 goals.
Slot said that Salah's biggest quality was his reliability when the team needed him to perform.
"He (Salah) is available, top players have it. They are always available and performing, like last week against Chelsea when he appeared with goals and assists."
"For big clubs like Liverpool, you need players who make the difference and Mo Salah is the answer," Slot said again.
Not only that, Slot also appreciated Ibrahima Konate's appearance.
"I should also say that Ibrahima Konate is also very good for us."
"He didn't get a decent confession, but he was always close to the best player of the game. It was a very good performance," said the 46-year-old manager.
The result of one point against Arsenal reduced the gap between defending champions and Premier League leaders Manchester City. Now, Liverpool are only one point behind and are in second place in the standings.
The Reds had a chance to top the table when they met Manchester City at Anfield on December 1, 2024.
