KPK Finds Out Computer And Laptop Procurement At PT INTI Which Ends In State Loss

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating the process of procuring computers and laptops at PT Industri Telekomunikasi Indonesia (INTI) Persero in 2017-2018 which resulted in harm to the state. This step was taken by investigators by examining five witnesses on Monday, October 28.

"The witnesses were all present and investigated regarding their role and knowledge in the procurement of Computers and Laptops in 2017-2018 at PT Industri Telekomunikasi Indonesia or PT. INTI Persero," said KPK Spokesperson Tessa Mahardika to reporters, Tuesday, October 29.

Tessa said the five witnesses examined had the initials NG, VAK, ADS, ND, and YG. "The examination was carried out at the KPK's Red and White Building," he said.

As for the information obtained, those examined were the Director of PT Mitra Buana Komputindo (MBK), Natalia Gozali; Victor Antonio Kohar as Director of PT Asiatel Globalindo; Adiaris as Business Director of PT Industri Telekomunikasi Indonesia in 2016-2017; Nilawaty Djuanda as Finance Director of PT Industri Telekomunikasi Indonesia 2014-2019; and Senior Account Manager of PT Industri Telekomunikasi Indonesia in 2017-2018, Yani Gustiana.

Previously reported, the KPK suspected that the procurement of computers and laptops of PT Industri Telekomunikasi Indonesia (INTI) Persero cost the state up to Rp100 billion. This amount is said to be increasing because the calculation is still being carried out.

The alleged corruption in the state-owned company uses a new investigation warrant (sprindik). This case is not related to the baggage handling system (BHS) project that ensnared Darman Mappangara in 2019.

Sprindik, who is the basis for investigating the alleged corruption, is also common. This means that no suspect has been named because investigators are still collecting and studying the evidence that has been pocketed.
