The Panel Of Judges Rejects The Exception Of Law Advisor To Honorary Teacher Supriyani
The panel of judges at the District Court (PN) Andoolo, South Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi, rejected the exception of the legal advisor to the honorary teacher of State Elementary School (SDN) 4 Baito Supriyani, then continued the trial at the bottom of the case at Supriyani's third trial.
Chief Justice Andoolo Stevie Rosano explained that the panel of judges had considered the main objections of the defendant's legal adviser, Andre Darmawan, regarding investigations that were not in accordance with procedures as stipulated in Law Number 11 of 2012 concerning the Juvenile Criminal Justice System.
"Second, investigators have violated the police professional code of ethics so that the results of the investigation are not valid," saidmoto Rosano, the age of the trial at the Andoolo District Court, Antara, Tuesday, October 29.
Based on the exception submitted by the defendant's legal adviser, the panel of judges considered that the scope of the exception had been strictly regulated in Article 156 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Procedure Code (KUHAP).
"The panel of judges considers that all exceptions submitted by the defendant's legal advisor are not included in the scope of the exception as referred to in Article 156 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Procedure Code," he explained.
From the indictment of the public prosecutor, the panel of judges has examined and decided that all of them have fulfilled a careful, clear, and complete description by mentioning the time and place of the crime, as well as the defendant's actions.
To test whether the indictment is proven or not, as well as the chronology of events outlined by the public prosecutor in the indictment in accordance with the facts or not, the panel of judges will prove it in court.
"Therefore, all exceptions or objections from the defendant's legal advisor must be declared unacceptable," said Chief Judgetar Rosano.
According to ANTARA's observation, the trial of honorary teachers at SDN 4 Baito Supriyani is currently continuing behind closed doors with the agenda of examining witnesses who are minors.
