Maruarar Sirait Wants To Share Houses From The Utilization Of Confiscated Land Corruptors
JAKARTA - Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) Maruarar Sirait is ready to execute the implementation of the three million house program launched by President Prabowo Subianto.
The man who akrap called Ara assessed that three million houses were a continuation of the former President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) program which was aggressively accelerating land certification.
"If Mr. Jokowi yesterday for land certificates everywhere, I want Prabowo to distribute houses. There are many TNI/Polri, NCO, our teachers or ASN who do not have a house," said Ara in an event entitled 'Discussion of the Three Million Houses Program' which was held at the Auditorium of the Ministry of Public Works, Jakarta, quoted Tuesday, October 29.
Through the construction program of three million Prabowo's houses, the government through the Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas will take advantage of the confiscated lands belonging to corruptors to be used as public housing.
"What to do, the lands confiscated by corruptors are returned to the people. But it is collateral, the guarantee is land. And if the TNI/Polri and ASN employees have salary slips, we will give them 20-30 years. So, installments are not expensive," he said.
Ara has now pocketed about 1,000 hectares of confiscated land in Banten from the Attorney General's Office. He also persuaded the Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani and her staff so that the land could be used as a residential area.
"Last week, the first day of work I came to the Attorney General's Office. In Banten, corruptors have received around 1,000 hectares. I have spoken to the Minister's mother, I want to convince the Ministry of Finance, it can be made up for the people," he said.
This plan is increasingly being finalized in the Red and White Cabinet Retreat which was held in Magelang, Central Java, some time ago.

Apart from Sri Mulyani and two deputy finance ministers, Ara admitted that she had invited ministers and other officials to help make the housing procurement program a success.
"Well, the advantage was that we had 4 days of treatment yesterday. We can talk a lot. I was with the Minister of Finance, with Deputy Minister Pak Suahasil, Mr. Anggito talked a lot. Also with Mr. Tiko (Wamen BUMN Kartika Wirjoatmodjo), Mr. Erick (Thohir) can talk a lot," said Ara.
"So, I have asked the Minister of Finance and the Attorney General, we will have a meeting later. Between the Minister of Finance, then the Director General of State Assets, then the Attorney General's Office and the Minister of Defense, so that there is a decision and legal certainty. So that these lands, if I wish, are given to the people," he added.
