Deputy Minister Of Finance Anggito Reveals Retreatment Of The Red And White Cabinet In Magelang Is Very Extraordinary

JAKARTA - The Red and White Cabinet has attended a treatment at the Magelang Academy, Central Java, for three days.

Deputy Minister of Finance (Wamenkeu) Anggito Abimanyu conveyed that the idea of the Red and White Cabinet treatment in Magelang was extraordinary and could be imitated by other agencies that want to increase human resources (HR).

According to Anggito, this retreatment activity in Magelang is not just a militarism but is an application of a military way to discipline and strengthen ties between cabinet members.

"So this retreat in Magelang is a game changer, this is not a militarism, but a military way, a military way to discipline and bond among cabinet members," said Anggito at the virtual 15th Anniversary & Lustrum III Vocational School Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Monday, October 28.

Anggito said that during his career he had never felt a strong bond among cabinet members. Therefore, this experience makes the heart interconnect.

"Because according to him (Prabowo), the weakness of our nation is a weakness in discipline, responsibility and bold decision," he explained.

Previously, the Minister of Finance (Menkeu), Sri Mulyani Indrawati, shared a number of moments of the Red and White Cabinet Minister's Retreat activities at Sapta Marga Field, Magelang Military Academy, Central Java.

In an upload on his personal Instagram @smindrawati, quoted on Saturday, October 26, 2024, Sri Mulyani was seen taking pictures with Deputy Minister of Finance (Wamenkeu) Suahasil Nazara and Anggito Abhimanyu.

The three of them even compactly wore spare component uniforms (komcad) and white shirts.

"While enjoying the atmosphere of Tidar Magelang Hill - the opportunity to discuss various national priority issues regarding State Finance with the Deputy Minister of Finance @suahasil and Deputy Minister of Finance @anggitoabimanyuofficial," Sri Mulyani wrote in her upload.

However, Deputy Minister of Finance Thomas Djiwandono was not seen in the photo uploaded by the State Treasurer.

Sri Mulyani emphasized that Tommy, Deputy Minister Thomas' nickname, was not present at the retreat event in Magelang because he was participating in a series of G20 events.

"Wamen Tommy Djiwandono did not take part in the retreat because he was on duty to attend the G20 in Washington DC," he said.

The retreat activity at the Magelang Military Academy emphasized the importance of togetherness, discipline, and unity of vision among the ministers of the Red and White Cabinet.

With this new spirit, there is hope that cabinet members will be able to bring the government to a more solid and effective achievement.

The retreat activity was opened by President Prabowo Subianto by delivering directions to participants which took place after sports activities and eating in the morning on Friday, October 25, 2024, at around 08.00 WIB.

President Prabowo said that the debriefing activity was an effort to equalize the frequency and movement of steps as a government.

President Prabowo also said that the best teamwork can be seen from football, where all players must have the same beliefs and goals.

The Red and White Cabinet team must also realize they are competing with other countries.
