Officially Present In Indonesia, BAIC Pamerkan SUV BJ80
JAKARTA - Beijing Auto Industrial Corporation (BAIC), an automotive brand from China, is already present in Indonesia, under the auspices of PT JIO Distribution Indonesia.
Today the company PT JIO officially introduced its newest model, BJ80 at Headquarter Alam Sutera. The model is a Brand Shaper from the Offroad Vehicle (ORV) BAIC class.
"BJ80 is a Brand Shaper of the BAIC Off Road Vehicle (ORV) class, has the highest features, advantages and quality in class. We believe this vehicle has its own place for the Indonesian people, especially fans of premium 4x4 vehicles," said PT JIO Chief Operating Officer of Indonesia Distribution Dhani Yahya, when met in Alam Sutera, Monday, October 28.
Dhani further said that the presence of an SUV similar to the Mercedes-Benz G-Class also aims to research the public's response, which is expected to provide an overview of the BAIC model.
"We are still researching first and want to introduce this one model as the BAIC top off the line model which is marketed in Indonesia," he added.

In design, this one car has a boxy look. This vehicle is designed to conquer a wide range of terrain with an entry angle of 39 degrees, a 25-degree incline angle, and 33 degrees exit angle, ensuring good maneuverability on various road conditions.
Speaking of convenience, BAIC BJ80 is equipped with a Double Wishbone Torsion Bar Spring Independent Suspension front suspension which provides better control on all road conditions, thus ensuring smooth and comfortable driving on various road conditions.
In addition, the suspension of the back using Five Connecting Rod Variable Stiffness Spiral Coil Spring Non-Independent Suspension, provides extra comfort and the use of Rigid Axle on rear wheels gives strength when driving on the terrain.
Regarding the heartburn, BAIC BJ80 is powered by a 3,000cc Turbo engine with an aluminum V6 engine configuration combined with twin-turbo technology, BJ80 produces 241 Hp of power with a maximum torque of 420 Nm in the range of 1,700 to 5,500 rpm.
The machine comes with an 8AT ZF transmission, 8-acceleration automatic transmission from ZF, BAIC BJ80 offers faster gear movement, better response, and a smooth driving experience across various road conditions.
