IDF Chief Of Staff Calls Israel New Using Part Of Its Ability When Attacking Iran

JAKARTA - Israeli Chief of Staff Defense Forces Lieutenant General Herzi Halevi said Israel only used part of its capabilities when it attacked Iran last Saturday.

Tensions in the Middle East that have been heating up due to the Israeli-Hamas conflict in Gaza and Israel Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, are boiling even more as Israel carried out an attack on Iran last Saturday, following Iran's advance to Israel last October 1.

Speaking after Israel's retaliatory attack, Lt. Gen. Halevi said the military used "only part" of its capabilities.

"Our message is a very clear message, and it is related to things that have happened in the Middle East in recent months," he said.

"We know how to reach and attack any threat, anywhere, anytime," he continued in the video released by the IDF.

"We are only using part of our capabilities. We have the ability to do more. We are attacking the strategic system in Iran and we will see how things develop now. We are ready for all scenarios in all lines," he added.

"The air force attacked all of Iran. We hit hard on Iran's defense capabilities and its ability to produce missiles aimed at us," Prime Minister Netanyahu said in a speech, calling the attack "exact and robust", saying the attack met all its goals.

On the other hand, Iran has yet to signal how they will respond to the long anticipated attack on Saturday, involving a number of fighter jets bombing targets near the capital Tehran and in western provinces of Islam and Khuzestan.

Khamenei said Israel's calculations "must be thwarted". The attack on Iran, which killed four soldiers and caused some damage, should not be exaggerated or exaggerated," he said.

Meanwhile, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said Iran was not seeking war but would provide "appropriate responses".

Meanwhile, Iran's spokesman, Mohammad Baqer Qallibaf, said Iran had the right to defend itself and its response "would be certain, in accordance with the terms".
