Conditions And City Streets In Iran Are Calm After Israel Attacks

Iranian state media broadcast the calm streets of four cities on Saturday at dawn following an Israeli attack on military facilities.

Cities across Iran, including the capital Tehran, remain calm and "normal", according to state news agency IRNA broadcasts.

Israel's retaliatory attacks on Iran targeted its air defense systems and missile production facilities, an Israeli military spokesman said on Saturday, October 26, after confirming the attack had ended.

Iran said the attacks on military centers in Tehran, Khuzestan, and Islam provinces only caused limited damage.

The Israeli military separately said targeted attacks included facilities involved in missile production.

Iran has not yet said exactly which location is the target and the extent of the damage is still unclear.

Previously, several explosions were heard west of Tehran at around 02.15, Saturday, October 26 local time.

Iranian officials said the explosion heard at it was linked to an air defense system deployed to counter attacks.

Currently, Iran and neighboring Iraq are closing their respective airspace for security reasons.
