The KPK Team Who Had An Accident While Riding A Banana Boat On Jembrana Bali Has Recovered

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Monitoring Team had an accident while reviewing lobster cultivation cages in the middle of the sea in the Panyaringan Village area, Mendoyo District, Jembrana Regency, Bali on Wednesday, October 24. The ship carrying overturned.

"The team boarded the ship and capsized because of the waves while conducting a field review of the lobster cultivation cage located in the middle of the sea," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardika to reporters in a written statement, Friday, October 26.

On the ship, continued Tessa, the KPK team also together with the KKP Inspectorate, the Directorate General of Treasury of the Ministry of Finance, the Directorate General of Marine and Fishery Resources Supervision (Ditjen PSDKP). A total of nine people in the group.

"The victims have received help and were taken to the Mendoyo Health Center," said the spokesman with the investigator's background.

After receiving treatment there, they were then referred to the State Hospital. "The KPK team is currently in good condition," said Tessa.
