Police Arrest Racial Speech Perpetrator To Vinicius At Derby Madrid
JAKARTA - Spanish police have arrested four people in charge of a hate campaign against Real Madrid striker Vinicius Junior.
The investigation began after three complaints were filed by La Liga ahead of Los Blancoss' 1-1 draw against Atletico Madrid on September 29, 2024.
Police confirmed to ESPN that those arrested incited fans through social media to go to the (Metropolitano) stadium to make racist connotations aimed at Vinicius.
Some fans claim on social media that they will attend the match at Metropolitano wearing masks.
This allowed them to racial abuse the Brazilian national team player without his identity being identified.
