After Being Beaten 0-19, North Mariana Islands U-17 Remains Confident Against Indonesia U-17
JAKARTA - The North Mariana Islands U-17 swallowed a bitter result in the inaugural match of the 2025 U-17 Asian Cup Qualification because they were beaten by Australia 0-19. However, they remained confident ahead of the U-17 Indonesian national team in the second match.
The North Mariana Islands were unable to do much against Australia, which is one of the favorite teams in Group G of the 2025 U-17 Asian Cup Qualification.
North Mariana's goal conceded 12 times in the first half, before Australia added seven more goals in the second half.
The North Mariana Islands Football Federation (NMIFA) said the 0-19 defeat to Australia was really a valuable lesson.
Moreover, they will face the U-17 Indonesian national team at the Abdullah Alkhalifa Alsabah Stadium, Kuwait, Friday, October 25, 2024.

"Our first match in the 2025 U-17 Asian Cup Qualifiers is a challenging match as we face Australia's strong team," wrote NMIFA on the official Instagram account.
"Although the results did not benefit us, this is just the beginning of our journey. Every great team must overcome difficulties. Every experience on the ground helps us grow stronger and more resilient," the statement continued.
After being beaten badly by Australia, the North Mariana Islands must keep their heads up. You see, they will face Indonesia U-17 who is also one of the favorite teams after winning 1-0 in the inaugural match against Kuwait U-17.
With quality advantages, the U-17 Indonesian national team is predicted to be able to win with a big score against the North Mariana Islands.
However, this prediction did not make the North U-17 Mariana Islands afraid to face Garuda Muda.
